PGA TOUR Americas alumni keeping strong pace at higher levels

Korn Ferry Tour star Ian Holt stops by 'The Drop' to talk hot start to 2026

After only two full seasons preparing players for the next level, PGA TOUR Americas has already provided both the Korn Ferry Tour and the PGA TOUR with substantial talent. Highlighted by 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year Johnny Keefer and PGA TOUR winner Michael Brennan, the PGA TOUR Americas alumni roster currently includes five players who are inside the Official World Golf Ranking's top 200.

The alumni footprint is more significant on the Korn Ferry Tour, where they have earned seven tournament wins over the past 12 months. The most recent wins on that level belong to Ian Holt, No. 10 on the 2024 PGA TOUR Americas Points List, who set the pace early with back-to-back wins at The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at The Abaco Club and The Panama Championship, and Davis Lamb, No. 3 on the 2025 PGA TOUR Americas Points List, who claimed the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club title this past Sunday.
Holt and Lamb entered this week’s LECOM Suncoast Classic ranked first and third, respectively, on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List — fittingly, the same event where Neal Shipley became the first PGA TOUR Americas alum to win at the next level one year ago.
Already the fastest player ever to claim two victories in a Korn Ferry Tour season, Holt has amassed 1,210 points and stands just one step away from an immediate promotion to the PGA TOUR. There, he would join Keefer and Shipley — both PGA TOUR Americas alumni who won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour last season — as well as Brennan, who captured the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship on the PGA TOUR just 28 days after completing a dominant three-win season en route to 2025 PGA TOUR Americas Player of the Year honors.
Another alumnus deserving recognition is Canadian A.J. Ewart, medalist at the 2025 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry last December. Like Brennan, Ewart bypassed the Korn Ferry Tour entirely and has been adjusting nicely to life on the PGA TOUR. Currently No. 68 in the FedExCup standings, Ewart has made six cuts in nine starts, highlighted by a recent tie for 11th at the Valspar Championship.
Below is a look at where PGA TOUR Americas alumni stand across the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR standings through March 29.
