Emilio Gonzalez makes eagle putt on No. 15 at Utah Championship

Emilio González won the Albertsons Boise Open with a blistering final-round 61, the lowest round of the week, to earn his first Korn Ferry Tour title and lock up his PGA TOUR card in the process.

- With his first Korn Ferry Tour title, becomes the fourth member to earn a #TOURBound declaration, as he moves to No. 4 on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List and effectively secures one of 20 PGA TOUR cards available through the Points List.
- Follows No. 1 Johnny Keefer, No. 2 Austin Smotherman and No. 3 Neal Shipley as the fourth Korn Ferry Tour member to earn a #TOURBound declaration and secure PGA TOUR membership for the 2026 season.
- Earns his first Korn Ferry Tour title at 27 years, 9 months, 27 days of age
- Becomes the 15th first-time winner and seventh international winner of the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour season
- Sixth player representing Mexico to win on the Korn Ferry Tour, and the first Korn Ferry Tour winner from Mexico since Roberto Díaz/2021 Chitimacha Louisiana Open
- Closes in 10-under 61, the low round of the week, becoming the fourth player in Korn Ferry Tour history to card a score of 61 or lower in the final round and win a 72-hole tournament (Chris Couch, 60, 2005 Rheem Classic; Kyle Reifers, 61, 2006 Chattanooga Classic; Peter Tomasulo, 61, 2010 Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic)
- Finished No. 49 on the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, earning fully exempt status for the 2025 season
- Previously finished No. 172 on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Points List as a rookie, though he missed significant time in the middle of the season due to injury and was awarded a medical extension to begin the 2024 season
- Earned Korn Ferry Tour membership for the first time via a T24 finish at Final Stage of the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament (now known as PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry)

- Played four seasons at St. Mary’s University (2016-20), an NCAA Division II program in San Antonio, Texas, where he earned seven collegiate victories, including the 2018 Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational
