The 2025 Korn Ferry Tour season continues with the NV5 Invitational in Glenview, Illinois, the 19th event of the Tour’s 26-event season.
This year marks the seventh playing of the NV5 Invitational, and previous winners of the event include 17-time PGA TOUR winner Scottie Scheffler (2019), 2021-22 PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year Cameron Young (2021) and PGA TOUR winner Harry Hall (2022).
The Glen Club hosts its sixth NV5 Invitational (2019, 2021-present; the 2020 tournament was contested at nearby Chicago Highlands Club). The Glen Club previously hosted the final six playings of the LaSalle Bank Open, a Korn Ferry Tour event from 2002-08.
Chandler Blanchet became the first wire-to-wire winner on Tour this season with his victory at last week's Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Hiland Dairy Foods, capturing his first career Korn Ferry Tour title. Blanchet, the 12th first-time winner on Tour this year, posted a 27-under 261 en route to a three-stroke victory over runner-up Patrick Welch. Blanchet climbed to No. 7 on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List ahead of this week's event.
At last year's NV5 Invitational, Thomas Rosenmueller matched the 72-hole tournament scoring record with a 25-under 259 to claim his first Korn Ferry Tour win with a twostroke margin of victory over rookie Karl Vilips, propelling the Munich, Germany native to a No. 9 finish on the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Points List to secure his first PGA TOUR card.
PGA TOUR winner Karl Vilips (second) was one of four players to finish T7 or higher at the 2024 NV5 Invitational to earn PGA TOUR membership at season's end. Five of six players who finished T7 or higher but did not earn PGA TOUR membership are in this week's field: Zach Bauchou (T3), Sam Bennett (T3), Davis Chatfield (T3), Carter Jenkins (T7) and Korn Ferry Tour winner Sudarshan Yellamaraju (T7).
