Season Recap

2026 Season

Sony Open in Hawaii

Earned his third PGA TOUR win in what was his 69th career start, securing a two-stroke victory at 16-under 264 with a bogey-free 3-under 32 on the back nine of the final round. Marked his second victory in his last eight starts on TOUR (2025 Genesis Scottish Open). Became the first player since Tom Kim (2023 Shriners Children's Open / 44th start) to earn his first three PGA TOUR wins in less than 70 starts. Led the field in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee (4.352) and went 6-for-6 on sand saves. Rose to No. 17 in the Official World Golf Ranking following the victory, his first time being ranked among the top 20 players in the world.

WM Phoenix Open

Holed a 27-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole (par-4 18th at TPC Scottsdale), defeating Hideki Matsuyama for his fourth PGA TOUR title at the WM Phoenix Open. Opened the tournament with a bogey-free 8-under 63 for a two-stroke lead through 18 holes, but began the final round four strokes behind Matsuyama, the outright 54-hole leader. Closed in 7-under 64, bouncing back from a bogey at the par-3 12th with birdies on five of the final six holes of regulation (Nos. 13, 14, 15, 17, 18). Marked his third victory in his last 10 starts on TOUR (2025 Genesis Scottish Open, 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii), which propelled him to No. 5 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Prior to his win at the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open, stood No. 158 in the OWGR.
